I went to Ireland for a long week of vacation.  If you like cold rainy days, you'll love that island.  We had prepared well, so the lousy weather didn't catch us off guard, that said, I don't think I'll be trading good August/September weather on Cape Cod for the Irish alternative ever again.

While I was gone, I had to deal with a few unexpected issues.  First, all my credit cards were frozen by Visa, probably due to the unexpected charges associated with travel.  Not a big deal, but the web hosting company I use was unable to bill my monthly dues.  The were nice enough to keep the servers running while I get the card back online.

Then NotifyWire.com went down yesterday...I thought perhaps the hosting company had run out of patience, but it was just a server issue.  Generally, they're very reliable, but when it rains it pours, especially while I'm in Ireland.

Vacation was great, but I'm glad to be back in the U.S. and back to work.
